Blizzard of Souls
2018Historically informative website about Latvian riflemen during the period from 1914 to 1921. Descriptions of the most important events, photos, and memories related to the events depicted in the movie and Aleksandrs Grīns' novel "Blizzard of Souls".
Out task was to combine information about the upcoming film "Blizzard of Souls" by Dzintars Dreibergs with a large amount of historical evidence in written, photographic, and video formats related to events in Latvia from 1914 to 1921 on a single website. In this project, as a suitable solution to depict historical events, we chose to develop an interactive timeline that highlights the most significant events, including a map and various infographics.
The website contains a wealth of photographic materials, written testimonials from events of that time, video recordings, and extensive historical information about each event.
